Avaus Marketing Innovations is a finalist in two categories at the international Revvie Awards competition organised by marketing automation tool Marketo. Avaus is the only European marketing agency that has been nominated – and in two different categories.
The Digital Services Partner of the Year award will be given to the Marketo partner receiving the most votes out of the three marketing agencies that made it to the finals. Avaus is in the Bridge Builder series as a partner of industrial company Wärtsilä.
In this series, the award will be given to a company which has combined creative advertising with technology in its marketing. Wärtsilä was selected in the final thanks to its digital marketing package developed with Avaus for the energy market in Texas. Other finalist agencies come from the USA.
“Hundreds of millions in industrial procurement is being successfully being supported by digital advertising,” says Emma Storbacka, head of B2B at Avaus, who is happy about the rapid growth of the B2B customer accounts of Avaus.
The winner will be selected through public voting, and the results will be announced at the Marketo Summit in Las Vegas on 9–12 May. The Summit gathers some 6,000 marketing and technology professionals from different parts of the world. “This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase creative Finnish marketing and technology expertise to the world. Being a finalist, our visibility will generate interest in Scandinavian technology expertise in general,” says Henri Syvänen, B2B strategy lead at Avaus.
Marketo’s head office is located in San Mateo, California, and the company offers marketing automation tools as a cloud service. Innovative marketing, i.e. the combination of marketing technologies and creative concepts, as exemplified by Marketo, have attracted significantly increasing attention over the past two years. Through this growth in demand, Avaus is currently employing more than 100 people in Helsinki, Stockholm and Gdansk. Avaus will continue its growth and is planning to recruit some 20 new employees.
